Writing is therapy

Ever heard the saying write it out it will make you feel better? Well it’s true, writing is a healthy and therapeutic way to help with whatever problem you are having. There are many things that you as a reader of this article can do. As for my job I will be helping you step by step in detail about what you can do to help with whatever you are feeling.

Step one, find a quiet place to be. This step will help you because it gives you a nice place to write. As well as gets rid of distractions so you can focus on what you want to write about.

Step two, think about how you are feeling and reflect on your day. You can write about whatever you want to, poems, stories, letters ect.

Step three, after reflecting on your day, write out what you felt throughout the day and what you did. Example, my day was like a stormy winter night, my mood was like an angry sea bear wanting to tear apart the paper i had to write.

Step four of the writing process, after you have finished writing and are still in the mood to write, keep it up. Soon you can have notebooks and paper filled with poetry or whatever you are writing.

Step five, if you have writer’s block go on a walk carrying a notebook and pencil and write down what you see. If you rearrange the words in a specific way you can make a new poem and not even realize it.

Writing is so much fun and easy to do with these five simple steps. I hope this article helps you later on in life and through your high school career. Writing has really helped a lot of people that couldn’t really talk to anyone. If you write a story you can create your own world that’s better than the one you are in. Your creativity is your imagination, use it to your advantage. You are are a special person and your mind is a powerful tool. I hope this article helps you along the way and has given you ideas, helpful advice, and a healthy therapeutic way of helping you deal with how you are feeling. Hope to have you tune in again and read more articles from friends the Windward Howler.
