What is love?
Love is peace
Love is soft and superb
Love is unyielding and primitive
Love is rigid and violent
Love is destruction
Love can be both breathtaking and heart breaking
Both astonishing and scandalous
Both heart stopping and mind crushing
Love is wild
Love is a beast
Love is all but instinct
Naturally we fall
Like gravity we are helpless of it
Yet we all have a choice
Shall our love cause peace or destruction?
Shall our love be acceptance or rejection?
Shall our love bring smiles to the world or tears to the eyes of all?
Shall our love grow like the tree of life or fade like a memory?
Shall our love be indestructible or pained with spears of betrayal?
Our choices come from within us
Our actions come from our minds
And our words come from our hearts
Shall we cause peace or destruction?
For those who love
Love will flow right back
For those who hate
Hate will flow right back
For those who accept
Acceptance will follow
For those who reject
Rejection will follow
Be filled with love and joy
For love and joy shall always be returned
