Just a normal student without any special talent, Makoto Naegi wins a lottery to attend the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy where only the top prodigies attend. However, instead of this being the beginning of a wonderful high school life, it's a ticket to despair because the only way to graduate is to kill another students or be one of their victims.
Danganronpa is only a few years old. It aired in Japan in September 2013. The anime was based off of a Japanese video game. Since the video game came out, Danganronpa has spread to many things, a few including, Manga, Anime, and music.
